“FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FORCES THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO TO BARGAIN WITH TEAMSTERS LOCAL 743 FOR THE STUDENT LIBRARY WORKERS”

After several years of fighting to get the Employer to go to the table with Teamsters Local 743, on Tuesday December 17, 2019,  the 7^th Circuit Court denied the University of Chicago’s petition and required the University of Chicago to bargain with the unit of 200 Library Students organized by Teamsters Local 743.

Local 743 will continue to provide updates to members as they become available.
