New Contracts Signed at Revere Electric, Automatic Spring Coil
Updated On: Jun 04, 2013

Teamsters Local 743 members manufacturing industrial plastics have ratified a three-year contract with Automatic Spring Coil in Evanston.

The new agreement at the longtime Local 743 employer protects approximately 130 Teamster members and provides workers with improved wage increases for every year of the contract.

A little further south in Chicago’s West Loop, six Local 743 members working at Revere Electric secured a new three-year contract of their own. The Teamsters produce electrical parts for trucks and over-the-road transportation vehicles. The agreement provides workers with increased wages and annual raises.

“These companies have been with the Local 743 family for generations, and we couldn’t be happier to have ratified the new contracts so quickly,” said Clinton Fluker, Local 743’s business agent representing members at both companies.

“These contracts are perfect examples of the work we do at Local 743,” added Donnie Von Moore, the local’s President. “Whether we’re representing six members at one company or 130 workers with a different company, we will do whatever it takes to protect members and ensure they have the benefits and advantages they need for the future.”

Teamsters Local 743 represents more than 11,000 hardworking men and women in health care, warehouse, clerical, mail-order and professional industries throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
